Dante Adventure - Copy Cat

Skipper won't stop dancing now. He just found out that he can get all the attention by pattering his paws around to Gracie's music, and now he can't get enough. Well, that goes for both of them. That leaves me over here by myself, just watching the two of them play together.

Normally I would be happy to have the little bunny-bottom rascal bouncing around with his hyperness elsewhere, but now I'm getting sort of jealous. Not super jelly, just a little bit. In fact, I remember when Gracie used to give me all the attention for my dance moves. And that makes me a little upset. Just a little.

Then I noticed Gracie had the treat baggie out. Now I've got to do something. I can't just sit here and let Skipper take all the glory, I gotta get in on this treat thing before they're all gone. Besides, I don't want my little buddy to hoard all the bragging rights.

"Move it out the way," I ruffed to Skipper as I did some dancing of my own.

I know I'm way better than he is, I've had way more practice at this. There was one point in time when all the treats were mine, and I was the center of attention. It's time to remind everyone of this fact. I just have to remember how to wag my tail right.

The moves worked and Gracie gave me the next treat and the attention. This only made Skipper dance even more, shuffling around to try pushing me out of the picture. I wasn't about to let him have the floor though, he'd already had enough in my opinion. This was my turn to shine.

But Skipper got the next treat anyway. It was time to show off some of my secret moves then, perhaps the tail-spin mixed with the woof-along act might do the trick. So I spun myself around and did the hopping and woofed along to the song. I really thought I'd have the upper paw with this one, but Skipper learns fast apparently.

"Stop copying me!" I ruffed as we danced around each other. "Those are my moves!"

"Well they're mine now and you can't have them back!"

I was going to plop myself down on Skipper to put an end to his copy-cat attitude, but then I noticed something new. Gracie was dancing along as well, copying my moves. Wow, that's actually really cool, I have taught them both new tricks without even trying. Well maybe it's not so bad after all. Yeah, you know, this could really catch on now that I think about it.

And with that, we danced the night away, the three of us spinning and woofing and having fun even after the treats ran out. And nobody stepped on anyone's paws either, so I have trained them well with my grand skills. It was a wonderful time indeed.
