Dante Adventure - Breaking Barriers
We did it! We finally did it! Skipper and I have been working on this all morning long. And our efforts did not go unrewarded. I knew they wouldn't. When I put my mind to accomplish something, you can be assured that it's gonna get done. And well done it is.
You see, we found that biting the door handle is the secret. You gotta bite it really hard and then when you pull it down, the door opens up really nice. And if it wasn't for my good little pal here tripping me up so I'd slip and fall at the right moment, we might still be fumbling around and digging at the rug.
But onward into the great unknown. This door has been one of the great mysteries of the apartment for so long. All the sniffs and the quick peeks we'd managed in the past have never given up the secrets. Now we will finally know what is hidden behind the little closet in the bathroom.
How could Gracie have kept so many secret stuffs from us? Well it's too late for secrets now, we have overcome the greatest obstacle any pupper has ever faced, and now the treasures are all mine...I mean ours.
"I got dibs on the towels!" Skipper ruffed as he dragged a pile of them onto the floor.
That's fine, I'm way more interested in the stuff we've never seen before. First I'm gonna play with this box with the loopy handles. I'm pretty sure we can make it into a neat little hiding box for when we play puppy-fort games. Yeah, I'm sure even my big tail can fit in this thing.
The box turned out to be pretty heavy, but once I got all the stuff out of it, it was easy to move it over to the sofa. After adding some or our toys, it was ready for any future games we might want to play. But for now, we have to investigate the secret storage room even more.
"Did you find anything else?" I asked Skipper.
He just stared at me from his pile of fluffy towels, sniffing the freshness and wiggling around. While my friend is busy with his finds, I looted the rest of the cubby hole. It turns out that this is where Gracie has been hiding all the extra fluffy pillows. We really need these on the bed. Napping would be so much more comfy if we had more of these.
It was tough work relocating the pillows, but the reward is a nice big pile of comfy to rest upon. I took a break while Skipper dragged the rest of the towels around the floor. I do not know what he's planning, but he's got something in mind. As for me, I'm just wondering what's in the last box that's in the cubby. It's got to be something really cool or else why would Gracie have hidden it here.
After dragging the container out, we managed to lift up the lid only to reveal tons of the paper stuffs. Yes, it was a big stash of that stuff that makes the greatest fuzz balls. You can fetch them, throw them, roll 'em around and chase them and they smell sort of good too. So that's what we did. Wow, we'd really hit the treasure spot, especially since we've been trying to figure out where exactly Gracie kept this stuff.
And that's how the rest of our afternoon went. Yeah I'm sure we'll catch some heat over the mess, but we did finally figure out the door thingy. So it'll be worth it. And I can't wait to see the look on Gracie's face when she finds out that doors won't be stopping these puppies anymore.
