Rocky Adventure - Baby Brother

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

We were just out for a normal walkies, my good friend and I, and all of a sudden the bird dove down and tried to snack on my ear. The wind flapped and flopped around me leaving me no other option but to hide between my friend's legs and bark a red-alert.

About three trees away from the birds, they finally stopped swooping down on us and we were able to continue out trip to the park without any further incident. It seems like it must be the time for springing because everything was growing nice and fluffy, both the plants and the critters. I even saw a few tiny duckies waddling behind their mama as they made their way to their swimming pool.

The grass was nice and fluffy and most of the crunchy leaves had blown away. I could hear duckies quacking in the distance and there were some people sitting on a bench nearby. I do not know what they were doing but I had the feeling they were up to something.

We made the little camp a couple of benches down from the suspicious peoples. This meant I was on the security detail, investigating all the things within our zone. I found exactly seven bugs an old wrapper, a few rogue leaves that were still crunchy and a shoe lace.

Meanwhile, the old man was starting a conversation with the nearby neighbor peoples. I wasn't too involved in this, normally my friend does this sort of thing when we do visit the great outdoors. While he was yipping and yapping with his new friends, I looked around to see if I could find any friends other than the big bug that was following me around.

After wandering around for a bit, I turned back only to find that my friend had moved from where I'd left him. Now he was hanging out with the peoples. He's always wandering off into mischief, especially if I'm not keeping a close eye on him every second.

When I did arrive on the scene to make sure my friend was alright, I found something very out of the ordinary. And indeed it was something that would have nabbed even a rock's attention. Well, if a rock could move around on it's own, it would have definitely ended up right here as well.

Puppies! A whole herd of tiny puppies were jumping all over me. They had little tiny barks and all of them wanted to nibble on me. I have no idea what to do here, if I try to get away then they'll just start crying and if I stay here they're going to chew me to pieces.

I could see the desire in my friend's eyes. He was already cuddling and petting one of the tiny doggies that liked to lick the most. Yes, he just had to pick the one with the licky tongue to be his favorite. This was getting me sort of nervous though, especially now that the old man was hugging on one of these little nibbly rascals. I could tell he wasn't going to let go very easily.

"Only one, we can only have one of them!" I warned the old man.

It really made me wonder how all this was going to turn out. I really don't know what we're going to do with a puppy, I'm not a mama or anything, so how am I supposed to know how to take care of him? I really think this may be way more trouble than the old man realizes right now. I just hope he's not expecting me to share MY food.
