Dante Adventure - Electrifying Results
I had my fluffy fort and I was going to defend it to the last bark. Up here on the bed was a good spot to protect from, particularly from little short puppies with big mouths. He wasn't getting up here though, not a chance.
Skipper tried to put his paws up here again but dropped back down as soon as I woofed in his face. Not scary, just enough to startle him so he'd back off. After that, he tried sneaking to the other side of the bed, but all I had to do was keep my eye on him until he returned to his choice spot. This is his favorite jumping spot so that's what he's got his little mind set on taking.
When hopping wasn't working, the rascal decided to get a running start to launch himself up into my blanket fort, but he ended up falling back off the bed and doing a very cool flip in the process. After rolling around for a few moments, he finally managed to put all four paws back on the ground and return to simply trying to hop up here.
It was at that point that Gracie strolled in and put an end to our game. We'd made too much of a mess on the bed and it was out-out-out of the bedroom we went. I don't know why the bed isn't supposed to be a playing spot because there are just way too many games you can play there. And you can eat too. No eating in the bed? Terrible idea. Everything should be made out of beds. Except for the food. Beds aren't food.
So we huffed and pouted around the sofa room until finding our select spots to gripe from. I had my favorite rug while Skipper grumbled from his sofa spot.
We were still grumbling when Gracie entered the room and began huffing and puffing too. But it was sort of strange, she was inflating a big ball to play with! Yeah, that's so cool! It was getting bigger and bigger with each huff until finally she called it quits and held the magnificent ball up high in the air to taunt us into a fun game.
But the ball wasn't thrown. Instead, Gracie began rubbing it on me and the onto Skipper. We danced back and forth trying to avoid the teasing and still dive in quick enough to grab the ball away from our friend. This was an epic battle for the greatest ball of all.
It was at that moment that I was convinced this was not a game I wanted to play. My fur was beginning to stand up on it's own and there was this strange tingling that just didn't quite feel right. I had to get away as quick as possible but Gracie was all over us like butter on bread!
Sticking the balloon to my back was my friend's worst idea ever. I don't know what has driven her to do this thing or why it seems so funny to her. Now there's tingles through my tail and my fur feels like it's standing up on it's own and the ball won't get off me.
I ran around and around until the ball finally floated off, but as soon as it had left me it glided over to Skipper and began chasing him. His eyes were so big and wide and his paws were frozen in place as the two were dragged together and the ball fused with his fur.
This had to be the strangest game of ball we've ever played with our friend. I'm sure that it's just some sort of payback for us messing up the bed, but we'll still do it again tomorrow. I think our game was way more fun, we just have to convince Gracie that she should leave the fizzy-ball and it's electrifying tingles out of it and come play with us instead.
